Name that tune(exhaust) Opinions Wanted

Ok here the deal for anyone that cares about my story or knew about my last exhaust thread. My Credit Card keeps getting declined cause the website bills out to and not . ive tried it like 4times called the ccard comp and they kept telling me try it again after making adjustments. now i was told there is a hold at the actual bank from letting go through....No biggie,and i was having seconds thoughts on the magnaflow kit anyways!!!
My choices go as followed
magna
loudmouth II
bassani
anything that will give me the below loved sound
in no particular order,i was gonna get an off road x to compliment the magna. but the car is gonna run stock h-pipe for a while and until i hear the actual catback installed. That way i can hear if the kit requires some X's rasp or some H's rumble. not concerned about HP here cause both help and the sound is overall the most importing IMO
ultimately i want to avoid flowmasters,cause they have a metal sound that drives me crazy. but i like loudmouths which also have a metal sound go figure. im stuck on trying to mimic a nice 4.6 ufo,deep,rumble roaring sound. like this despite it says flowmaster(but if i have too!!!!!!!)

but i know it ain't really possible with my 5.0 and just exhaust but it definitely plausible.
i kindma like this sound,which i hope isnt flows,but would like it to roar rather rasp but hey you never know....

ok with that said,im still sleepless making this decision, i dont have easy money and exhaust isnt really cheap, the magnaflow is the cheapest, but i am willing to open the wallet for my desired sound......

to all its own v tech killer......
thats not what im going for......sounds good, but im trying to accomplish a different tone for sure. if that were my car i would be running some quieter exhaust!!!!!

well friend of mine has an slp loudmouth, they are resonators not mufflers i think, imo i don't like it, he has it with an o/r x, wayyyyyyy to loud i mean it does sound mean and has a nice tone but if you could hear me coming from 2 blocks away he is 5 easy. and i dont like the tips that come with the kit, they aren't cut at an angle so its cut its perpendicular to the floor, which imo makes it look stupid

Man you're trying to make a bass guitar sound like a Stratocaster. Your 302 is never going to sound like a DOHC 4.6 even if Jesus makes you a cat-back. You'll come kinda close but that hollow sound is a signature thing about the 4.6s and the 302s are almost always more rumbly no matter what exhaust kit is on it.

Oh i know what you're sayin, i've been searching for that sound since about '96 when the 4.6 hit the Mustang scene


The closest i've heard is probably either a full MAC setup or Spintech cat-back with an X pipe. Both are kinda hollow sounding and raspy like your typical 4.6 is. Those would be my recommendations.

That's about the closest i've heard...it's tough to tune out the bass of a 5.0.

I think

I think a Prochamber and a Magnaflow catback will get you a very similar sound.

The Prochamber adds that nice hollow muscle car sound.

im still torn between magnaflow and lMouth
magnaflow is sounding too quiet for me...
but loudmouth has a little rasp, so im thinking maybe a prochamber and LM,since it doesnt seem to have been done too much..
