does anybody know a company in the southeast that narrows 9in rearends? Also how much would i need to have cut off? Do i need to make the specs exactly the same as the 8in in my 66 now? Or could i make it a little bit shorter but still wide enough for the leaf springs so i can run wider tires? i need some major info before i spend the big money for this rearend. Anybody know where i can get a versailles rearend so i can eliminate the narrowing problem. Or a granada or monarch. Please help guys

Jimmie

Call Currie or Mosier....they will make you a custom rearend with custom high strength axles that are far superior to stock and it will probably cost you less than buying a 9" locally and having it shortened.

http://www.mustangsandmore.com/ubb/FordRearDimensions.html Go here for the measurements you need for your rear end. You might want to ask a local shop that deals with Rear ends where you could get it done. It might be cheaper that way than shipping it. Good Luck

Currie - http://www.currieenterprises.com/
Mosier - http://www.moserengineering.com/

PSA, I'm not bitching, but everyone that can own/drive/work on a classic Mustang should be capable of using Google....
