I am thinking about the Dynomax Race Bullets or the Summit Racing Equivelants. Anyone install these? How do they sound?? Loud or not??

I mean the car has a turbo, so the exhaust is quieted down alot anyway right?? The car is really quite now with the factory system.

1985.5 stock car with 39200 miles.

I am scheduled to get a 3" down pipe and complete new system next Saturday (April 23rd), so any recommnedations would be great. Thanks. ! !

Well, I dunno what they're like through tailpipes, but I had Dynomax bullets with dumps on my Turbo Coupe for about a week (3" DP, no cat) and they sounded like crap. Way too loud. I now have Hooker Maximum Flows which do more muffling of the nasty sounds and I think they sound pretty damn good. And they're still pretty loud even through tailpipes.

Glasspacks sound like ass on a 2.3T...get a magnaflow if you are for performance, Flowmaster 40 if you don't mind losing 2-3hp for the best sound.

70Mach, like you say, you don't need much muffling with a turbo. I'd stick with a straight-through type though; something that would help to extract the gases. I have a Moroso Spiral Flow on my Bronco, that works well.

These work well with turbos, I've heard. They're expensive though.
