Need 4 1/2" Pins for my Cervinis hood

I bought a set of Ford Racing hood pins, and they are short about 1", anybody have a source for longer Pins? Good option to tack weld the top bolts to the radiator brace & go with that? The boxed in underside of the Radiator support is taking up the extra inch or so.
Wadda you think?

Try the pins that Shelby sells, the ones made by Scott Drake. They should be plenty long enough.

I bought some from Jegs because I made the same mistake.

Summit also has 1/2inch pins that are 5 inches long. I think thet're made by Moroso. Also, I believe the Shelby pins come with brackets to mount them so you don't have to drill the radiator support.

I had the same problem with a stock hood. A trip to the local hardware store for some allthread rod, a couple of coupling nuts and a generous coat of loctite solved the problem
