I need to know of whats a cheap car that i could get from like the 80s that would be like under 500 bucks jsut to get me from point A to point B. See the thing is there are a bunch of douchebags at my school that like keying old cars that are in nice shape, and i park too far back in the parking lot for the cameras to watch my car so theres really nothing i can do. An alarm wont help because i'll be in the middle of class if anythign happened to it. So i'm looking for just a piece of **** car that i could drive from my house to my school 1 mile away. any ideas?

On a serious note - look for an old Honda Accord. I picked one up for about $500 after I got tired of riding my bike

Another possibility is a Caprice, Crown Vic or Grand Marquis. Much easier to work on.

Honda makes good cars, but have you ever tried to change the alternator or clutch on one?

I've got a '90 Dodge Shadow that would be perfect for that. In central Oklahoma. Where do you go to school?

one mile = walk.

Think of all the $$ you would save. I told you you should have redone the engine and kept it looking like crap...HEHEHEHE
