Need a how to on headgasket change

The Chiltons and Haynes manuals both cover the procedure. The local auto store should have one of them. I know Super Six Motorsports has the procedure- look under Power Pak Installation.

I just did it on a 96 coupe with the 3.8. What a pain in the arse! You pretty much have to take everything off the engine until you are left with just the block connected to the transmission and motor mounts. Get a roll of duct tape and start numbering things like hoses, vacuum lines, electrical connectors as you disconnect them. It will make it much easier when you go to put it back together. The A/C pump can be unbolted from the mount and just laid to the side. Same with the P/S pump, but you'll need the P/S pump pulley puller which you can rent at AZ or most other parts stores. You will also need a few torque wrenches: NM, ft lbs, and in lbs. Buy or rent the tool to disconnect the fuel lines at the fuel rail, again about $10.00.

Not an impossible job, but like I said, it's a pain in the arse!
