In most cases the water pump will leak out of a 'weep' hole located just behind the pulley on the neck. It will do this when it gets worn out. I have not seen polished waterpumps for 94/95s, but they may be out there. I ordered a new FRPP unit from Jegs for around 60 bucks.

It's a FRPP piece so I would assume it is a stock replacement unit.

I swapped in a Napa rebuilt when I did the H/C/I route...I cleaned everything up and clearcoated everything, including the new pump...It officially looks like ass again, it Yellowed...I would go a nice polished unit if I had it to do again, and will the next time the motors out...There more money for sure...but I like things looking detailed...

Search around the net...Stewart/Edelbrock and some others can be had polished...I stashed a link to one some time ago...I'll see if I can dig it up...

Chit...I just typed in "polished ford waterpump" into Google and got this on the first line...theres a polished one...just look around...

Would the one for us be the 94-95 f-series truck pump? Or the 86-93?

Neither.

I have a $25 reman stock replacement (same as RIO's). Car never gets over 190 degrees even in the summer.

I got the Stewart Components high flow. Works great and the engine hasn't run hot even in stop and go traffic this summer w/the stock rad. and a 180* tstat. Not sure if its worth the $50 over the reman. napa one, but I got it overnight. Everywhere else would've taken three days min. at the time (my car's the dd). Also, I'm more comfortable with it, for when I'm on the roadcourse in the future.

Yep bought a factory replacement from Advanced Auto Parts. I think the main cooling problems with our cars are the small radiator.

Edelbrock and Summit make high flow polished units for our cars, or they may be chrome not 100% sure. I just put a Flow Kooler in my car yesterday haven't ran it yet to see how it works though. The best price you can find though is the FRPP one it's the same price as remanufactured ones from parts stores but it's brand new.

I haven't seen a polished one for our years yet. If you have a chance post up some info or a link to one. Thanks

This waterpump is polished and made by edelbrock and sells for 240 bucks at Summit racing. The like you posted says that this will fit 94/95 F150. Maybe it will work on our cars.

well i picked up the FRPP water pump today, any advice on installation? mainly what all has to be removed and how to avoid breaking the bolts off in the block? had problems before when removing my factory headers, broke three bolts off! hopefully that doesnt happen again!

Loosen the wp pulley bolts before taking off the belt.
You will have more room if you take out the fan.
The hoses should be replaced but you don't have to, just be real careful when trying to get them off. They may be stuck on there pretty tight.
Everything else is straight forward.
Good Luck.

You may also want to unbolt the power steering line from right next to the battery and push it out of the way, and remove the battery and tray it will make getting the fan out of there a lot easier if you have the A/C line running above it. Also, you will have to remove the crank pulley to access the lower water pump bolt, and I found it easier to remove the tensioner pulley because it's in the way of one of the bolts also.
