Need a small part, anyone know where to find?

I need the small oval spring, that is used on the cross bar for my rear drum brakes.

I tried the local hardware stores, nothing? They told me that the springs i need arn't made any more...

If ford has them, anybody know a part number or anything?

Aut0 parts store, they sell all the small drum brake hardware in a kit

Thats the thing, they don't sell the pieces i after.

If it's the spring for the cross bar you will need to get the other hardware kit. Not the spring hardware kit. It will probobly include the star wheel adjuster, the spring and possibly the cross bar. If no luck you can always go see Henry J. (the dealer)

Ya. I was told they couldn't be bought any more, i guess the guy was full of it.

I'll call around tomorrow i guess, i don't feel like dishing out another $40 for that stupid hardware kit.

Email me your address. I have an old rear axle sitting out by the trash waiting for the trash guys to pick it up. Pay the postage and it's yours if I can find it.
