I'm going to hold off for a bit. I'm thinking about a 68 fastback now, so I don't know where I want to go. I'm putting my supra project off for awhile because I really want a mustang to park next to it.
I plan on buying a 5.0 mustang donor car for the motor and tranny, and anything else I might need. Then I'll rebuild the motor to get around 420 horsepower N/A and then add a small quick spooling turbocharger with really mild boost to get about 500rwhp out of it... reliably (key word) I want to get the shelby style front valance and have an intercooler in the opening of it
I get manufacturer distributor cost on most of that stuff, and we have a full shop that I can use with welder, lift, air tools, lathe, etc.
So once I buy up all of that stuff, I'll install it at the same time. I'm great with building stuff like that. I'm totally confident that I can do any of that stuff, and I've done it before.... I just suck at body work!
