I agree on the 3! We just sold our 04 Mazda 3s, which looked just like Low 5.0's. It was an awesome little car, and to only be a 2.3 the power really surprised me. Which is a hell of a compliment coming from someone who's used to driving nothing but v8's! And the gas mileage is great too.

Scion. I'm a toyota boy at heart lol Have an 86 Pickup I used to beat the hell outta that thing Only ever had a few problems with it. Was having issues which is why I bough the Ram but I still have the yota and hope to someday get it back on the road to beat some more. Toyota is a good car.

What about a Toyota Corolla? Those things get like 30mpg city and 40 highway! The insurance can't too high on those. What about a Focus? Ok, i'm probably going to get flamed for this but how about the new civic? I saw one at the Chicago auto show and I must say that I was impressed with it. It was nicely equiped and the price was a little over 21K for it. The interior was nice and the gauges were cool looking. Just throwing some other options out there and it probably beats the corola in hp and mpg. There is also the new VW Golf. Looks interesting, that's all I know about it.

A great site to do some research on cars is edmunds.com You can trust them. They are unbiased.

What about the Pontiac Solistice?? http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/pontiac/solstice/100529859/photos.html and here is a list of coupes: http://www.edmunds.com/apps/vdpcont...=coupe/category2=pricerange/attribute2=15k25k

Make sure there room in the car for some road side assistance if you know what I mean. What about a focus Z5 or whatever they are or a SVT Focous.

4 door SVT focus Euro FTW. Or an 03 Marauder, you can get those for around that price and most insurance companies see 03's as Grand Marquis

I realy like the fusion...alot. sharp car with a nice price. I was hoping to trade in my 00 olds intrigue on a sport trac adrin. in a year or 2 but since for axed' that model I have been looking at the fusion with a manual trans. I have also heard things about a turbo model in the next year or so...

I like the mazda 3...almost everyone I see I like...even the friggan wag. version looks nice. and then the mazda speed one with a turbo is also nice

BMW is also adv. a 100% maint. coverage deal on the 3 series for 4yrs if that is still going on or starts up again when I am looking to trade in 1-2yrs. I will prob. go with a 3 series like a 32x-330 or whatever it will be by then.

The wife wants a sport trac so depending on who wins that battle (ok what she wants:Zip2: ). I plan on keeping the bronco so the need for a 4x4 is less if we do keep it, and honestly I would feel safer in that big fugger than the smaller sport track...but MPG would be ALOT better with a trac.

Honestly, nothing sounds nice/good/tempting from GM for the most part. Well cept. for the caddy sedans, vett, or one helova deal on a now dead GTO (that would have to be a great deal though). I like my Olds, though and may just keep it depends on how it goes.

I saw your question about getting a discount on the TC got overlooked. I work at a Toyota dealership and our employees don't even get a discount. If a dealer did that, they have random audits and the dealer could lose the franchise. I drive the car everyday though and it is a a lot of car for the money even at the sticker price.

As much of a Jeep fan that I am, the Liberty is a hit or miss vehicle. From what Ive heard some are decent and others are junk.

I'd say the RSX out of those 3.

- Acura RSX - I've never driven one, but I really like the RSX. I was going to take a test drive, but my insurance quote was around $4500 a year for one so I said f*** that! That was for base RSX too, not the Type S. Mazda3=around $2800 a year, maybe a little less.

- Jeep Liberty - Don't know anything about them except their kinda ugly. One of my co-worker's neighbors has one and I guess he gets like 14mpg or something like that.

- Saturn Sky - I wouldn't mind owning one, but I would take a Miata over it. Here's a Miata vs. Soltice comparison edmunds.com did. http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/pdf/articles/2006_mx5_articles_eprint01.pdf
