Yep, lol, I saw the same bumper core on EBay.
Yeah, she did a number on it...but, as you say, it's a good excuse for the mod. The OEM bumper had license plate screw holes punctured into it by the dealership - freakin idiots, especially in a state where we have no front license plate.
I dig the Roush bumper as well...I saw a couple pics on Google Images while browsing around...so I guess my mind is not made up just yet - at least not 100%.
As far as agreeing with Kilgore...no worries, it happens to the best of us from time to time...!
Thanks to all!

hey i have the steeda one piece. quality is awsome and its been on the car 7 years. no problems. that being said. my car is not dropped yet. when i drop the car im switching to the roush stage 3 front. the lip does stick out far making it hard to get on certain lifts. however, my cats hang lower.
I hear ya bro, and that's possible, but as mine is no longer a DD, and I'm a careful driver (well, usually I am...) - I think I can keep it safe. The look is, IMO, bitchin, very racy. I am also thinking about the Roush bumper, or even the Steeda splitter, although I'd still need a bumper with that one and the splitter alone is $370! That's friggin' ridiculous.
Another option is just the 00 Cobra bumper without the splitter. (Decisions, decisions! )
You can always go 03/04 Cobra too. As much as I love the 99/01's it is such a pain to find a used one locally here, believe it or not.
I probably will be going 03/04 here soon as soon as some of my used parts sell. If you are interested in buying my GT bumper (without the same paint code as yours just LMK. But it won't be for a couple weeks anyways.

I went with the stage 3 Roush after my fender bender. It's great quality and easy install.. Looks awesome on lowered stangs. I haven't really seen very many Mach 1's with it, but they look awesome with them I think.
I had a hard time deciding between the Roush Stage 3 bumper and the Cobra R. I ended up with the Roush and had no problem going with the Cervinis Cobra R hood. My body shop guy said the quality of the the hood was the best after market one he had seen. The Roush bumper was also good quality. I purchased both from Stage 3 motorsports. The guys at Stage 3 look over the parts before the ship them. Oh ya, I still really like the Cobra R bumper.
