So recently I have been shopping for a 5.0 and I haven't owned one in about 5-6 years. I found a 1990 lx 5.0 5 speed with 130,000 miles for $5500 in excellent condition, very clean, and completely stock. Now I have a little bit more money I do want to pick it up. Basically I just don't want to get screwed over because a couple of 5.0s before this one was a lemon and I lost a bit of cash. The car body is immaculate and mechanically sounds great. It looks well kept. Is there anything I should look for in particular to make sure this car is worth the money? Thanks a lot in advance.

Thats too much at $5500. Atleast where I live that car is worth no more then $3500. So I'd either try and bargain with the guy or keep looking. Clean Mustangs can still be found without a life of labor.
