Need Advise on Air Tube

I recently bought a Bassani Off-Road X-Pipe, that had the air tube capped off with a bolt which was welded in place. I had the X-Pipe installed this past Monday but the exhaust shop failed to cut off the bolt and re-connect the air tube.
By not using the air tube will my performance suffer I can't tell because I do feel the difference from stock to the Bassani

I dont believe performance will suffer. The only affect this could have would be in your emissions. That air tube helps keep catalytic converters working properly.

Thanks for the fast replys. Good I'm so glad I don't have to worry about the air tube, don't have any cats since it's a Off-Road X-Pipe. If anybody knows of anything different please let me know

you will get a anoying ticking noise from the air pump if you remove the the tube.
