I have a 67 Mustang w/a c4 that finally died. The trans is acutally out of a Mustang 2 I found out the other day. Well my buddy has a very nice extra c4 that is very clean & has a shift kit that I want to put in. The problem I think is that it's a stock 66 c4. Don't those have a different valve body shift feature? Can I still use this trans, but my shift detents will be off??? I heard this 66 c4 has a dual range feature(64 1/2-66)and it's not the same as the traditional shift of PRND21, so what is the shift pattern of the 66 type, and can I still use this trans???
