NEED CLUTH/TRANNY HELP

ok, so my transmission feels horrible but at the same time my clutch has started chattering. I know my trannsmission has been messed up for a while but i definitly need a new clutch now.
If i bought a cf dual friction for my 3650, could i later use that with a t56 or a tko500 when i get a new trannsmission.
Also, how many spline is the input shaft on the tremec 3650, t56 and tko500?

I just bought mine from jegs. I will get it tomorrow 03/28/07. 183-DF800075 and Throwout Bearing P/N 183-N-1714. Some one here suggest me not to use CF throwout bearing and just use ford throwout bearing. I got 02 mustang gt

If you get a TKO 500 or 600 you should get the 26 spline. Im pretty sure the T-56 also has a 26 spline input shaft so if you buy a clutch for your current transmission you wont be able to use it. The stock mustang clutch has a 10 spline input shaft.
