Right now I'm running a short/straightshot style CAI (not fenderwell) with an aftermarket MAF. I used to run a fenderwell one but my c&l MAF requires the filter to be right in the engine bay. I can feel a difference between the two, the car doesnt feel as beefy as it did with the fenderwell intake after the car is warmed up, and Ive noticed my engine bay is always really hot when I pop my hood after driving, so I know the CAI is sucking in really hot air.
I want to run a JLT intake, the one where the MAF and filter are both in the fenderwell, and they're sealed off very well from the engine bay. With a JLT do I HAVE to use my stock MAF? Do the Pro-M MAF's require a straight shot style CAI?
