Coming from the self tuning community which has access to the maf
transfer and the ability to look at airflow values in realtime .............

Let me share with you some things myself and others have seen
with mafs, filters, bends, clocking, and any other physical things you
might do to the maf and or ... intake pipe.

Changes with intake pipe system can ... some of the time ...
be reflected in the airflow values

Now having said that ... It is my hope you can see ...........

Some of the time ... some changes can effect things
and
Some of the time ... some changes won't cause much of an effect

I've even compared notes with other self tuners who say ......
they had different results from
things very similar to what I did

The general thinking is not to place your maf right after a bend

I really don't claim to understand all this
but
It seems at times .........
the intake system can be very susceptible to changes

That is one good thing about having access to the maf curve

If you do something that hoses ( ) it up ... you can fix it easily
