Need diff pully when adding intercooler?

Just bought a novi 1000 off of ebay. I'm thinking about buying one of those cx racing intercoolers off of ebay. The guy has a 8lb or 13lb pulley I can take off his hands. I was planning on the 8. I've been reading as much as I can since I bought the thing and I think i'm correct in saying adding the intercooler will basically reduce the boost level? How much does it lower the boost? What lb pulley should I be looking at running if I add the intercooler.

If it is sized properly it will not reduce the boost. Looking on Ebay the cx racing unit I see looks too small. 2" inlet piping will put velocity at over 600 fps at 8 psi and anything over 450 is going to slow you down. 2.5" pipe will give you 400 fps and good throttle response.

go with a treadstone intercooler. i lost 4 psi with a cheap ebay cooler. you want 3" inlets and outlets too

i have a 3.4 and a 3.2 RR pulleys with under 2K on each that i will sell for $75 shipped for the pair!

I'm no expert but I understand the math.
2" piping is certainly too small.
