need engine swap&shop to do the work

found an 03 cobra engine/transmission and want to drop it into my 04 roush... but dont kno who can do the work for me ... called mustang ranch in santa clara and they quoted me 100 hrs at $115 an hr wtf? that cant be right any ideas?

yea they are rediculous for stuff like that.. i wanted to do cams, they wanted to pull my motor and they said it would be at least 2000 for just labor alone!!! i made sure many times that it wasnt a communication issue or anything lol thats how much they really wanted.. i am not sure if this is a good idea, but i might just consider going to a regular shop if i where u. on a job that big they will prolly cut u some slack. their is also a shop in sacramento maybe someone can chime in and let us now whats up with it...

the mustang ranch is a strip club about 10 min from me

why dont you do it yourself? is there some type of fabbing you need to do? i thought the 03 cobra engines bolt right in

yup that sure is $11,500 just for an engine swap... i would love to do it myself but dont have a garage or the tools to do it... yea it should be a straight pull out put in type deal nothing tricky about it
