need good valve springs for gt40p heads

Hey guys need some help on this one ,I have an E camm with 1.72 roller rockers whitch make valve lift .535/.535 anyone have any part #'s for a good set of valve springs able to go 6500 rpm with no float,Iknow it kinda seems like a dumb ? but comp springs require some mach work to be done to make them work due to binding and I just broke a set of cranes on the # 5 cylinder I never thought I would be asking this kind of ? but Im running into road blocks trying to find these locally Ican get spings that will work from crane but I m a firm believer if something fail you once it will again. Thanks Again

Call Comp Cams. I have their springs, retainers and locks on two sets of older iron GT40s. Revs to 6k easliy.

PM Thumper, he is setting me up with a set for my P's that will go on with no machining of the heads.

Yea, I want a cusion, dyno shows we make power up to 5920, Msd is set at 6000, dont want float

Ahh I see...

Do you have yor dyno sheet scanned to the computer yet? Just curious where and what kind of power your making with your set up.

just remember that with 4:10s if you miss a gear with your foot on the floor, the rate of rise of rpm and the weight of the reciprocating assembly may carry your rpms over 6,500 rpm even with the ignition source cut off...................

yeah i missed a 4th gear shift today and had it to 6200 kind of scared me but its fine, I have the crane cams set, 10deg locks, good retainers, and the springs are awesome, they say the shift point with these are like 6.5-6.7k rpms, Im about to put the heads on with the same rr you is useing only with a b cam. Should pull pretty good!!
