Need help ASAP before i burn this car...

yeah i have 12v at one wire on the fuel pump relay with the key off. When i turn the key to the run position I get 12v at 3 of the wires. I swore i was getting like 6v at the last wire though, gonna have to recheck. I did unhook the ecu to install a tweecer too so hopefully thats not fried...although the fuel pump relay is getting switched power when i turn the key and according to schematics that signal comes from the ecu so am I correct in thinking that the ecu should still be Ok since the fuel pump relay is getting power when i turn the key?? The inertia switch is fine, was one of the first things i checked.

Did you check for ground at the 4th wire?

If you've got 6 volts on one of those wires, there's a bad ground somewhere. Depending on which wire is showing 6v. Either the computer provided ground is bad, or the fuel pump ground is bad.

well, i disconnected the round 4pin connector at the back of the tank and checked for voltage with the key on. Both were around 6-8v and dropping by the time i got back there after turning the key. So i just tried reconnecting it and what do you know, now it freaking works. Got 50lbs at the fpr and she wants to run soooo bad (sputtering and sputtering like she wants to start...but i don't want to drain the battery) i need to drop the fuel pressure, and reconnect the tweecer and put in the scalars for the injectors and such....hopefully then she'll fire up and run. thanks for the help guys. I'll let you guys know when she's running and post some pics.
