I have a 2001 cobra and just ordered Jba shorties, Mac O/R prochamber, Borla stinger cat back, JLT intake and 4.10 gears.
I want to get a tuner. A local speed shop told me that the canned tune is good for about 10 -15 RWHP and that the MAF does all the adjusting of the air fuel ratio automatically, so you can't blow up the motor.
He did say that you can get a few more ponies from a custom tune but run a higher risk of being to lean trying to get that last bit of HP.
Please help me on this on I want to order a tuner ASAP, is a SCT X3 or Diablo canned tune safe untill I deceide to go get it dyno'd???
