Mono amps can't be bridged-that's correct. You're bridging the speaker.

you cant bridge a speaker. bridging means making 2 power sources into one. it doesnt mean making 2 resistors into one.

here are some pics of a plain spare tire install with xtant subs. the amp is mounted on the underside of the hatch, so no visible equipment.

hear is my previous install using two seperate boxes in the back for the 10" subs. I found they took up too much room and weren't as stealthy as i had hoped for. The spare tire sub placement actually made for a healthier bass, although i had to address a rattle from the gas tank underneath the car.

I just have a cheap radio and 4 speakers in my Fox. I never even turn it on. Only music i need is coming out of the tailpipes!

Part of me wants to track down an OEM radio and original "cardboard" speakers and put them back in just for the sake of having original stuff...but then i can't put my gauges under the radio.
