Right now I have 18x9 Mille Miglia Evo5's with 275/45 (I think) Kumho 712's all the way around. I need to know if there is a different tire size that might fit a little better as there is a slight gap between the wheel and the tire. I am actually thinking of selling these and buying some 17x9 Ultralite II's so what would be a good tire size to fit these as well. Thanks.

mike

P.S. Anyone interested in the wheels P.M. me an offer.

What do you mean by gap between the wheel and tire? 275 is a good size for a 9" wheel.

It is kind of hard to explain and I wish I could show you a pic but I don't have a camera. The tire doesn't really "overlap" the wheel. The two just don't really go together.

So you want a tire with a rim lip protector?

Yes, that is what I believe I am looking for. Do you know what particular tires have that feature? My next tires will probably be either Kumho MX's or Nitto 555's.

Honestly I don't. I know they make them, but I don't know who does. Call the rire rack and discount tire direct and ask them, they will be able to tell you for sure.

If you get some 17x9 ultralite II's I'd go with a set of Nitto 555R 275/40 R17's.

rim lip protector

Swingline...
I am running Falken GR-B FK-451 255/40ZR17's
They have the lip protector. Pretty good tires IMO.
