Thanks.....

I had PM'd with Derek when I seen this thread and told him you were doing an upper for me and contacted me last week on shipping it...
Unfortunately this bad press is killing the business your trying to build...Granted your trying to improve on that and timely delivery is KEY. we all know whats it like to wait for parts..Its the worst part of modding your car and probably the biggest gripe you hear on these forums...

The best thing in my opinion you can do to turn around bad press is to give a delivery date and stick to it..

I agree with Andy 100 percent. I would really enjoy posting threads bragging about your work...I have no issues with you at all, infact as I said earlier I had good conversations with you an enjoyed talking to ya. I look forward to seeing the intake..and when it gets here I'll put up some pics to really show your work. You have the product to succeed ken..take care of the rest of it and you can clean up.
Later man and I hope to hear from you this week.
Derek.

What a bunch of BS. You guys can't believe a word he says. Read this post and then check out the flip flop on the corral!

http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=742341&page=5

Not only will the thread show his flip flop it will show that he really wasn't out of town for 5 days since he was checking in on the corral! he is nothing but excuses.

Hey Ken why on the corral do you say that you have a full time job and then come here and say you don't have a full time job so you can build this business but then can't deliver anything on time if at all????????? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!

Well it seems like we have another pissing match going....

I find myself coming to this guys defense....Ya, he has my parts and that makes me his friend...
Ken did email me this morning with a DHL tracking number...In all honesty I really cant say the the guy is or isn't a scammer from my dealings with him....He gave me what I would consider an excellant deal to do my upper...I never asked nor did Ken state when my parts would be done....
So with that said I have to give this dude chance and the benefit of doubt...

John...no way trying to dis you and your dealings...

Andy just remember I have met Ken in person, been to his house AND had a bad deal with him. I know more than the average bear about Ken and have tried to be nice and stay out of the whole thing. Not until now where I have read about how many more people he has screwed over did I decide to get involved because of how he told me he was making everything right a year ago.

Think about this Andy. Your intake is done and on the way. I would withhold judgement on the quality of the product until you see it in person. Then realize that you have your product before other people who sent him stuff well before you.

Ken, maybe it's your people skills that is killing your business. Stay in contact with your customers as you go along. You obviously do good work. Maybe have someone else deal with customers. Running a business requires more then just hands on labor. Bad press on the internet can do a business in. Remember Excessive Motorsports? I can list at least 10.

It's all good that you guys are passing around the warm fuzzies, but it doesn't change the fact that Ken defrauded almost two dozen people on Ebay alone. Here's the emails I got from him.

I'm sorry about that, things have been a real mess around here. My wife is about to have my first child and it can get a little hectic at times. I will have it out to you right away. Please accept my sincere appologies, I guess I overlooked that one by accident, I sold a few of them and thought I got them all out. Look for a tracking number by morning.

Sincerely,
Ken

Ok, I will get this out to you and get your tracking info. Once recieved, can you please withdrawl your complaint on Ebay? Thanks

hello, I tried to get paypal to resolve this issue by relaying the tracking info to them, but they weren't able to do anything. They said when you recieve the plate, you can withdrawl the complaint. Will you do this for me?

Thanks
Ken

Ken

The tracking number was bogus.

Just to put this into persective, I paid him on Oct 20th of 2004 and still don't have my part.

Like Jason mentioned my intent was to paint them....After looking at it with a Satin finish on the tubes I think I'm just gonna leave it....Kinda like it that way and it's hassle free...Scotch-Brite pad will tune em right up when needed...Not really to thrilled about painting them Red or Black....Doesn't really leave many options??
Do something up on the cover and be done with it...

I don't want to sound all critical & stuff .... but it looks like the little areas around the letters and the pony didn't get polished too well. Like I said, I don't want to sound like I'm criticizing it .... I haven't done a whole lot of polishing myself. And I imagine that it would be really hard to get those areas.

What else you plan on doing to it Andy?
