Well i just popped my headgaskets running 12 lbs of boost.... i am going to pulley it back to 9 when it was allright...
If im gonna rip the wholew top end apart anyways, i feel that if them heads are off, itll be stupid not to buy different heads.... I would want to use the stock valves for the low end torque, but much better flowing heads.... two machine shops told me that i would keep popping headgaskets because my compression isnt for a blower.......
wouldnt you think that a better flowing head would in fact LOWER the compression of the motor??? would i hurt my bottom end or headgaskets????? what do you guys think??? my dad wants to put my stock heads back on because my bottom end is stock with 115K miles on it and think that ill either blow more gaskets orrrr my bottom end.... im probably gonna show my dad this thread sooo your best advice would be great!!!!
