need help fast,

my radiator sprung a leek, my buddy works at autozone can hook me up with a V6 radiator for FREE,

just need to know if V6 radiator will work on my V8?

Your buddy from Autozone should be able to tell you this. If he will look up the part number on a radiator out of a gt and write the part number down, then look one up for a v6 and compare part numbers.

it's his off day, the outer guy i asked said they are not the same

Short answer. NO. The V8 and V6 radiators are different. I suspect the V8 is bigger or has more fins. It may even have different size inlets/outlets.

Try this trick. Go to oreillyauto.com and look up the part. Click on the compatibilty tab and look at the other models the part also fits. Only V8's are listed.

What ever you do, dont put stop leak in there......

x2 unless you don't plan on putting many more miles on the car.

I would recommend taking the rad out and taking it to a rad repair shop.
