Hi stangnetters .................. I need the help of a 1965/1966 mustang owner...could you kindly mesure the mustang emblem on the glove box door (height/width) I'm looking for a mustang emblem to make a custom center cap for my wheels needs to be 2 to 2.25 inches long......Or if you know of any other emblem that mesures 2.25 inches long please let me know...... many thanks ..... Nose to tail = 2"

Top of bars to bottom of bars = 1 7/8"

thanks silverbluebp .......thats the exact info I needed.... I hoped that the 65/66/ emblem would work but it's a little too small...I'll keep looking for an emblem that'll fit the center cap....... thanks again .......Dan

But the back of it is curved to fit the glove box door. Wait, the woodgrain doors from '66 are flat aren't they?

hey 1320stang that's a great suggestion...I'll hunt one down and mesure it..I can work with an emblem with a curved back.just need it to be 2/2.25 inches long top of bars to bottom of bars...........thank you very much........

I just went outside and checked, 2.5" tall at bars and 3.25" wide nose to tail.

As I recall, the '90 Fox bodies had a tri-bar running horse on the dash (come to think of it, my '92 GT may have had it too), but it's probably tiny, inch, inch and a quarter tall.

Might have to look at MII grille badges if they had any.

Mustang IIs have a floating horse that's about 5 or 6 inches long. No tri bar ponies that I can think of on them.

1973 grille emblem might work also anyone no of one to mesure...or I can start a new tread with 1973 mustang as title ......I'll look into 69/70 door emblem today thanks everyone
