Ok, so i bought some new guages and a used cluster for them to go in. I got it for really cheap. This way i can leave my stock one in place....But i heard that you have to swap out the circut board from your factory cluster in order for your car to start....Is this true?

If so where do i find this circut board and how hard is it to do this???? Pics would help alot...thanks

:nice:

Also, I dont have a reapir manual and its too late to buy one...all the stores are closed....

How do you remove the stock cluster???????

I got the top two screws out...but i cant get the headlight knob off

and it feels/looks like i might be missing a few screws....i really want to get this done tonight...someone please help...thanks

there is a small pin that you have to press in on the headlight knob when the knob is pulled out use like a flathead and push it in and it will come out then you will see the other screws that need to come out

for some of them you may need to have a torx driver or bit to get it out I remember something like that.

Im not sure about the cicuit board because I have a 96-98 and i dont think they are the same no electronic mileage.

ok, cool...i got the knob off....big problem. This other cluster has more mileage and the car wont turn over with this other cluster in....

Which circut board do i need to swap over?
