need help installing

i just recieved my upr o/r x-pipe in the mail today and while unpacking it i seen a piece that i didnt know wut to do with, The piece can be found here. http://www.uprproducts.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=301 its the little piece thats in the middle of the two top pipes that connect to the manifolds. can anyone tell me what this is for and where i install it at.

It's a gasket that has been argued about SOOOO many times. Some say there is a gasket, others dont. Mine had a gasket last time I had my pipe off.

There will be two different flanges on your x-pipe. One flat, one more rounded. It goes in the end thats more like a ball/socket design, which judging by the pic would be the left side.
