Just getting my parts together for my new "street car" motor. I know some of the parts I have are not the best choice for all out power ,but it is what I can afford.I'll be using all CHP 4340 [6.250] light weight I beam rods. 4340 crank, I think around 11-1 c/r pistons (what is the most I can get away with on 93)?
I also have a TFS 351w EFI intake with the 75mm intake. The intake will prob kill this combo. I don't have room for the larger 90mm intake.
I have vic jr heads that now only have minor port wk. I just only think the bowls are blended. (Should I port them with a intake that will only pull to 6500rpm)?
I need a solid roller cam. I think it needs to be on a 112-114 l/s ,with a split pattern. I'll be tuning with a tweecer. But have no idea where to start on the lift and duration. I also have thoughts of n20 in the future so keep that in mind.
Finally will the 255lph in-tank pump with stock lines & rails be enough?

You intake is fine for a N/A set-up. I've made over 800 rwhp with a 75 mm throttle body. With you compression ratio I would stay right at the 588-600 lift range on the camshaft. With the motor not reving past 6500 I would also go with a hydraulic roller. Unless you have converted the car to manual brakes stay around 114 degrees of separation. A 255 pump with the stock SN-95 rail will be good to around 550 N/A HP. With your combo I would go with a set of 42 lbs injectors.

I've seen his hydraulic roller cams make over 500rwhp on pump gas with a 408W, AFR225's and a spyder intake. Thats the engine I'm trying to build up right now. I just can't donate plasma fast enough to afford it.

I'm running a tfs3 cam and it's been really good.

And why not 418 while your doing the 408?

Yeah the TFS 3 seems to be a pretty good OTS cam for big strokers. A friend of mine made 462/450 to the wheels with his 427W/AFR225's/Super Vic Spyder intake/TFS3. However, my car will run right with his and mine is untuned. Unfortunately he'll have a 150 shot of n2o by next summer, so there goes my chances of beating him.
