Hello All:

I currently have a 2011 GT Conv wiith the Brembro Brake Package. I just had the calibers powder coated and its almost time to do my brakes. I wanted to get the cross drilled slotted rotors but now people are telling me not to go with cross drilled but just slotted and "dimpled". This is not an everyday car. The local people that i use told me to get Power Slot and they will work fine with the brembo package i have...is that true? If not can anyone make any suggestion?

Thanks

Track car? No then no benefit for either slotted or drilled or dimpled. Street cars best braking is with a full faced rotor. The reason for "designs" is:
• Less weight from less reciprocating mass- only benefits race cars
• Dissipate gasses from high heat due to excessive brake force- not generated on street cars.

Cross drilled rotors won't take the same abuse as slotted on a track. But unless your a pro racer don't listen to the overhype against cross drilled. They look great and work fine.

Check out the Baer eradispeed 2+ rotors.
