Need help timing ajustment

im going to make some timing test on my 94 gt, i have all the tool to check it but i just want to know one thing, when i look on the damper i saw some number 10-20-30 ..., i saw i a little piece of metal with the mention TIME and on this metal piece i have a little U cut, i want to know if i have to set my desired timing * inside this little U cut or if i have to ajust my setting in face of the Time word on the metal piece

Use the very top of the timing tab to shoot for your number, TIME is right under it..

you need to count the grooves between 10-20...each line is worth 2. My Romac is sorta the same...10, then dashes to 20. I scribed a line in between for where I like mine, 14

Make sure its up to temp when you time it, not cold....and pull the spout...
