Hey guys, my car is making a funny whinning sound from the rear end that seems to get louder the longer I drive. It does it any time the car is in motion, whether its in gear or not. It even does it when the engine is off and the car is just rolling (I've tested this). It sounds like its coming from the rear end. I recently had a pinion seal replace because of a leak, so I doubt it's the differential. It sucks because I'm out of town in Cincinnati right now and after 4 hours of driving the whine was pretty loud. It seems to go away after the car cools back down again, but I haven't driven since I got into cinci. Anyone have a clue what it might be?
