well my 302 lost oil psi while driving a while back and been calling machine shop hoping someone can have it done by next week since school starts back up soon
2 options since my block doesn't look like it will have enough time (so might have a full shortblock if anyone interested
1) 302, is a stock shortlbock virgin , been raced and nitroused, taken real good care of it made sure it stayed safe with oil psi and temp. (friends ~250, still have to buy timing cover i cracked mine somehow and head bolts)
2) 306, pistons are new(TRW of the HO), new rods, new steel crank, balanced, not sure on cam well get back (prob put my wolverine anyways), 351 heads ( not sure which year or might see if hell sell without, orless they'll make a good difference over stock) and etc. ( he wants ~700 might see if hell go down)
problem is i was going to buy a turbo in about 2 weeks but i guess i need to get my daily driver up and running and just save a couple more weeks might be more important.
Is the second one a good price? should i keep those heads also?
