Need help with DCC fan controller

I had to replace the coolant temp sensor probe/ wire on my DCC controller. When I pulled the contoller off the fan I couldn't tell where the probe wire hooked on. I need to put this back together because its my girlfriends daily driver, and Brian with DCC hasn't emailed me back yet. If any one can tell me which one of the about 6 copper pins to clip the wire on it would be great.

Seriously not trying to hijack your thread, but for the cost of this so called AWESOME controller, there are way too many problems with them posted on this site.

Only problem I had with mine was me not reading the directions carefully enough. This controller is much nicer than the factory set ups in new cars. Plus its adjustable. If you truly understand how electrical loads work, its a great concept. My lights dont dim for a second when the fan comes on like they used to.

Stang8urimport - comparing the DCC to operating a fan with relays and switches is like comparing a chain saw to an axe. Yup - the chain saw is a bit more complicated - that can cause a problem from time to time. But once you've used one, you'll never consider an axe again. What kind of cooling set up do you have on yours? I have a vague memory from one of your postings in another thread...

personally i like the buzz of the saw rather than the chopping sound of the axe. also eaiser to fuel the saw, than to rest & sharpen the axe. seriously, the DCC is one good piece of hardware. i was able to successfuly hook mine up on the
1 st try and it operated flawlessly.

Y'all there in the TN/AL/GA triangle beware - if you see an old man (like me) in an innocent looking MGB - it could be kstev in his bad-ass 5.0L/narrowed 8.8" Brit ride. I wouldn't pick on him.

Yeah, now that its hooked up I see the instructions on the site. Oh well, atleast its fixed. I have NO complaints about the dcc controller it is awsome. Her car has underdrives and it has no charging problems or cooling problems. The only reason I had to replace the temp probe wire is because it was stuck in the old radiator and the wires pulled out of it.
