+1 ... get good paint. If you don't, a year from now you will wish you had.

Interesting, that one looks like ass though. I'd have to clean that up a bit. You can tell it's home fabrication. I have OCD, I couldn't let the looks of that fly. I'm sure it performs pretty well though.

After reading about the Fastest Pushrod Kenne Bell Mustang in the World I think doing an Air 2 Air Kenne Bell like this guy did is probably a better route. I think he can even do the work if you send the unit to him. This is the coolest KB setup I've ever seen. He's making 550HP and 685TQ and it makes that torque number at 3400rpm, Holy Crap! Check out his video on this page. I think this may be the route I'm going for my next project. Wow.

I've been doing this for a long time. I've had blower, turbo (86 Buick Grand National) and gone N/A stroker. You get what you pay for. There is no go fast for cheap mode. Do it right the first time. It will save you more money than you think.

dude i dont care how long you been doing this, i also have been doing this along time, thats what hot rodding has been about since the first ford came off the line, those high dollor kits are expensive because all the hard work is done as fab work and design, that does not make them better because they cost more, the get what you pay for only applies to big company kits, that does not mean for sure it will out perform the local hot rodders idea of custom fabbing up some left over hot rod parts to make something cool and fast, you can still make a car fast with a low budget and smart thinking, and i you think you have to buy a 10000 dollor turbo kit to be fast your mistaken

and there is most definitely a goes fast for cheap mode, i have put alot of smackings down on cars with alot more money into there cars then mine because i was smart with my budget build, there are less expensive kits for a reason they help us get into a turbo kit or supercharger sure if you want to put a less expensive turbo kit and expect to last forever and give you 500 hp to the wheels your going to do things to make it better witch cost money, but the on3 and boost brother turbo kits are no less quality then the more expensive kits, and you can upgrade those kits any way you want, most of us specially the old school sn95/fox guys are on a budget, lets be real we have these cars because we dont have a ton of money to buy new shelbys and boss 302's. yea a few of us really like these cars but the cheapness and budget building is what has kept the late model mustang so popular for so long.
