Need Help With DVD Burning

Dump Vista! Depending on what Vista you have you might be able to get a free XP license, but since its on a laptop you might have problems finding all the drivers for it....

As for the DVD

If its a home movie on the DVD and there is no Copy Protection on it like a retail DVD, then you should be able to make an image (ISO format) and then burn that image to the blank DVD.

In Nero I think its called copy whole disk or something like that.

I'm one of the fools that wants to make it work w/Vista. I have a PC with XP and I use XP at work and it's probably MS's best effort. I haven't had too many problems yet, little PITA things like this.

I've seen "ISO" a few times but I don't know what it is. My Sony Camcorder and rental movies make VOB files, not ISO so that's what I'd like to burn.

ANyway, the problem is solved using the freeware (love that free stuff) I listed in the last post. Just wanted others to know.
