Hello, Does anyone know if TacoBill or anyone else has a link to an underdrive pulley install? I have the Steeda UDP's for an 07 GT and the directions are half-ass and I dont want to mess everything up. If anyone knows a good link I appreciate it. Chris:)

click the link in my sig for the roush pullies. it is pretty much the same as the steeda, with a few exceptions. the steeda comes with a bolt for the waterpump, and roush trims it. also, use the installer tool instead of that bolt they supply. its a better choice by far. also get a new crank bolt if your kit did not include one.

i did it with the car on the ground. when i helped chubhunter with his steeda pulleys, he already had the car up and it was much harder. dont wast your time going from under the car, ther is not much room that way. topside is sooo much better, IMO.

I did mine on the ground, I couldn't see any reason to have to lift it. Steeda gives you a replacement bolt for the lower left alternator but on my car anyway it is a stud with a nut on it, not a bolt. I just trimmed the end of the stud off which makes it unnecessary to even remove the nut. Pretty simple install, Good Luck!

thats the bolt that roush suggests that you trim. :) i trimmed mine, and chubhunter replaced the bolt. the choice is up to you.

I have to get a pulley puller and then I'm going to attempt the install. With the help of you guys it should go smoothly. Sorry to go off topic but I noticed you had a Strange Development Strut Tower. Do you have any idea where to buy one of these. Their main site says there out of stock and I called the and they might be out of stock for awile. Thanks!!:flag:

Hey BIGCAT, When you installed your LCA's did you have trouble removing the stock arms? I cant for the life of me get the damn bolts out of it. I'm using a ratchet. I have Steeda Billet control arms and am trying to install them with the help of your instructions.

Can't get the bolts out of it? They are long bolts, and do take a while to come out. Or do you mean they won't break loose? The front one on my passenger side was a bear, but I hit it with some WD-40, let 'er sit while I had a smoke, then finally got it.

Wheew, I finally got them out. Went and got some WD-40 at the store and hit it a bunch of times but finally got them. Control arms are in and gonna take a test run later today. Thanks guys, pulleys are next on the list, then an MGW shorty shifter. Later:nice:
