jut picked up a used s -trim vortech this morning. First question: in order to install the alternator in the bottom part of the bracket you need to attach the smog pump. well i dont have a smog pump so what am i supposed to do. next question, the metal fuel lines hat come down the side of the engine are in the way of the elbow thats supposed to go on the inlet of the blower, so i guess ill need to get some braded fuel lines. well how do you get fuel lines that are gonna attach to the stock fittings?

Well I went bought a new smog pump from autozone for 45$. You have to have a smog delete or a smog pump one or the other. and as far as the fuel lines they are a pain but you have to move them around to get them to work. It will work though

ASP has a good one. make sure it WILL WORK with superchargers, the blower bracket needs a small hole that a smog pump would have on it and to my understanding some smog deletes dont or didnt have them. my asp one did.

and i wouldn run a smog pump, i ran one just pumping air and it locked up the same day i got it running and smoked the belt. others have had the same thing happen.

I think you must have just had a bad smog pump cause I bought a new one from autozone and have had no problems with it at all
