I was taking the alt. bracket off of the car, and looked at the head and was kinda curious why it didnt look rusted like cast iron. After taking a closer look I noticed an italicized SVO emblem.. Im so happy.. and sad..

The last time at the track I ran a 15.2, which was due to very poor traction, but the car also started to idle really rough and want to stall.

Anyway, Im going to check for anymore markings, but can somebody give me an idea of what they could be?

Sounds like either Y303 or X303 heads. Pull a valve cover and look for a number like Y302 or X302 like this one:

The 302 number is the bare head casting number so the Y head has Y302 or the X head has X302 in the valve spring/rocker arm area.
Does the svo on the end look like this?:

I hope this helps.

That's a nice surprise since you didn't know that you had aluminum heads.
