why not an edlebrock performer intake..can be found used cheap??? with long tubes (pita to install but sound and hp gain make it worth the extra time) and an hipe...can all be had for under 1000$

nah i dont like buyin used ****...i dont trust things without seeing them...
ill spend the money on the gt-40..never heard problems plus looks sweet and has long runners for more torquel ike i want
Yeah the GT40 looks better than the Cobra/Explorer, but I think you're crazy to spend that much money on the GT40. I got the Cobra so I can have it extrude honed later and flow a metric @$$ ton. Besides, it was a lot cheaper.
Well, if cheap is the metric, then the Explorer gets the nod - it will make the same power as the GT40. BUT you have to buy them used to get them for $200-250. Not a big deal though as bead blasting makes them look like this...........
