need help

Anyone running front coil overs with 17X9 wheels and 275/40 tires...I'm concerned about the tires hitting the coil over springs. I want to put coil overs on my 2000gt but not sure if they will clear the tires???

I have no idea, but I couldn't imagine this tire would have any clearance problems with coil overs. I'm just thinking back to an ad I saw for Eibach for their coilovers on a 03 Cobra that drove from Dawsonville, GA to the salt flats of Utah and then ran a record setting 176.516, then drove back to GA - anyway, the point being...that Cobra looks like (and must have had) a set of rims on it at least 9 inches wide.
