Alright here's my dilema. I have a 97 gt with a 98 motor installed. The car runs great, awesome power etc etc. Recently had my clutch replaced cause it was going bad. Every once in while either when I turn the wheel as im driving, or step on or release the clutch, or drive on a bumpy road, There's this loud clacking noise that I hear coming from the engine compartment. After replacing the clutch I thought the sound would be gone. BUUUTTT NO. Its still there and slowly getting worse, annoys the hell out of me now... What the F$%^ can this be????? Thanks....

You sure its comming from the front of the car and not from the rear ? It could be drivetrain vibration from the clutch as it might still be slipping if everything isn't hooked up properly. BTW, what other mods is done to your car ?

Well lets see...40 series flows with dumps, Off road H pipe, Underdrive Pulley Set, CAI, Throttle Body, Intake Spacer, Msd Cables, Hypertech Chip, Tri-axe Shifter, H and R SS Springs, Rear Seat Delete, Smoked Clear Headlights.... And ya it seems to be coming from the front of the car, at times I feel the clunk in the pedals, its weired as hell...

Well, I dont have experience with the five speeds in these cars but it sounds like its still a clutch problem.

clutches are pretty strieght forward, as long as you tightend and thread-locked everything the clutch should be fine, I would look at the suspension, or have somone else who knows mustangs ride/drive it.
