in my tool bar bottom right hand side by the clock when u open the tool bar there a shield and it will flash blue to red with an x on it when i click on it. it wants me to down load anti virus and it says i vanurable to virus but im running norton. how to i get rid of this on my tool bar cause when im on a web side it will pop up every couple minutes. i already tried to turn off pop up block what im i missing. i need detail instruction im not that good with computers.

Does it only do that one some websites but not others? Possibly the website you are visiting when it does that is a security risk.
Norton has not done really well w/ the anti-virus tests and causes some hardware/software conflicts, so I haven't ran it for a few years.
Update norton w/ the latest definitions. That shield may be telling you that your anti-virus definitions are out of date and need to be updated; they aren't something you get once a month or something, they need to be updated daily when it comes down to it.

Disable Norton, go back into Windows Security Alerts (I believe that's what the shield icon is, unless you have another program with a similar one), and try to update definitions and set the firewall, etc. All that stuff. When done you can set Norton back to normal.
