NEED: Info on restoring '86 GT

I've recently picked up (rescued, really) an '86 GT convertible. It's very solid, always a GA car, but in serious need of interior/top/weatherstrip resto. While I'm quite sure I can muttle my way through it, I'd love to have an interior/body manual. I purchased a chassis manual but it focuses on wiring with nothing on body fitment, weatherstrip, or window function (all windows need adjusted). Can anyone suggest a place to find the proper literature to learn these areas?

I would grab this immediately. There is no substitute for the factory service manuals.

The folks on Four Eyed Pride would be a great source for info on restoring your car.

BTW, it is "throes", not "throws".

Congrats on the new car. An 85 or 86 GT is on my list.

As others have said, the Ford factory manuals are invaluable to have on a project like this.
