hey guys, over winter im gonna be doing some work on the notchback. I just blew the posi out, so i have to fix that, but can you guys give me some ideas of what stuff i should buy this winter to get me lower quarter mile times next season? also, my car wont hook up for anything, im think im going to run et streets next summer. please give me some input.

thanks,

Brent

I think if you are going to go ahead and get your differential fix, might as well be safe and put some 31 spline axles(Moser/Strange Eng.), some lower/upper control arms(HPM  ), aluminum driveshaft. These will help with the ET streets and abuse of launching. Might want to also think about weld torque boxes.

Motor....plenty things to do there. Give us some info on your car and budget.

:nice:

ditch those bosch plugs bro....
intake wouldn't be bad...but will be fine for now.
concentrate on the suspension...hp don't mean $hit if you spin all the way.
use hpm mega bite jr LCA's
and air bag the right side...pre-load it to launch more even.
(about 8 lbs...should be fine...enough to hold it even..but not really lift it)
w/ the et streets you should run possibly into the 12's.
my '89 notch went 13.20's w/ 4.10's
et streets and southsides.
i also had 50/50's (not good on the street though) air bag.
but my motor was bone stock.
went 12.50's on a 75 shot.
hooked from 1.6's-1.7's
