Need more power

Im new to the 5.0 world. Ive always been into chevys. Well anyway I have a 87 GT. It currently has BBK long tubes, Off road H pipe and flows. I bought a typhoon upper and lower intake with a 70 mm TB and im also getting 410's . I want to be able run at least low 12's or 11's. The car has 139,000 miles on it. I dont want to touch the bottom end. What heads and cam make the power. Will I need to convert it to mass air? I am also getting nitrous but i dont dont want to go bigger than a 75 shot.

i would like to see some replies as well. Thats basically what i want to do. Go high 12s motor and then spray into the 11s.

I'd go with AFR 165 heads and a cam from FTI.

i think you should invest in some subframes, control arms, and sticky tires. Also weight reduction and weight displacement will help too-- remove a/c and smog, aluminum heads, battery relocated.
