Need New Radiator Advice PepBoys / AUtozone ?

I'm in need of a new radiator for my 94 GT Auto.
Not looking for a High Performance rad, but would like to stay away for the stock radiator that has the plastic tanks construction.

Anyone recondmend pepboys or autozone ? are they all constructed plastic and alum?
I'm in NJ so throw me some parts stores that carry decent radiators at a decent price.

are their any manufactures that make all alum radiators but not high performance related.. trying to stay in th $150 range, don't see spending $300 for a high permance rad since my car has always stayed cool with stock rad.

I really hate to admit it, but I had a Fluidyne that started leaking at 13 months (yes, 1 month out of warranty, and they wouldn't do ANYTHING about it, absolute JUNK, don't waste your money)...

So I bought the Chinese-made LLT (limited lifetime) radiator at AutoZone for our cars, and couldn't be happier. It runs just as cool as the Fluidyne I paid $335 for and got 13 months use out of. I could have bought three of these and still come out cheaper.

Anyhow, I highly recommend the AutoZone version. Fit and finish are great, no problems, and it comes with the automatic tanks as well (no upgrade in price if you have an auto).

Is the Autozone radiator aluminum?

i called AAA radiator at 1 800 252-0333 a while back to get some radiator prices and i was shocked about there price and warranty don't remember the specifices but i think they have overnight delivery and i think the 95 stang radiator was under $200 delivered.... might be worth checking out ..

The autozone unit is plastic tanks on the sides an aluminum fins. Dunno about the innards of the thing but looks very well made.

Fit better than the original Ford radiator (yes, I still have it) that came out of the car prior to the leaky Fluidyne garbage I put in it.

i wouldnt but anything from either of those places, all they are is remanufactured junk.these are the same people that tried to sell me a mechanical fuel pump for an 86 mustang.supersync is the first person i have ever heard of that had a problem with there fluidyne,i have no problem with mine.if you dont want to spend 400 on a rad.buy one from ford to replace it,but i would not buy the junk peices of s**t that autozone, advance or pepboys sells.you could also try napa since they dont sell that remanued crap.just my .02

I've heard multiple people having leaking problems with Fluidyne radiators, and in the review section of the site there were also quite a few people who had the same issue.
