It is extremely easy to put on yourself. All you need is a spray bottle full of water and one single drop of dish soap, some low adhesive (blue) tape, drug store rubbing alcohol, and a plastic squeegee. Mark the centerline of your window with blue painters tape, or a wash-able marker etc. Also mark the centerline of the decal with a marker. Measure at least a couple of times, be accurate! You will need a flexible mearing tape for this.
Next, make sure that your glass is CLEAN! Then clean it again with simple rubbing alcohol, a couple of times, to make sure there is no wax, or carwash soap etc. Spray down the area, liberally with the water/soap solution, you can't use too much. Peel off the backing of your decal, carefully, leaving the decal stuck to the frontside transfer paper. The SALEEN letters will be properly spaced for your car, and level, if the decal was made properly. Place the decal on the window, using the factory black 'stripe' at the top of the tint as your straight-edge guide, the top of the SALEEN letters should be even with that line, and your center lines should be aligned at this time. The water/soap solution will allow you to move the decal around for a minute or two, to get it just right. Don't get caught up trying to match the curve of the windshield, Saleen puts the windshield banners on, in a perfect straight line, in relation to the decal itself, not the windshield. Do not apply the decal in direct sunlight! This would cut your working time to 15-20 seconds!
Then once the decal is in place, held on by the water solution, tape it in place, at all four corners, and several points on the top and bottom, and squeegee out the excess water/soap solution. Allow the decal to dry for 30-45 minutes, or longer, if necessary, it won't hurt anything, and then carefully peel off the transfer paper, checking to make sure that the decal is stuck to the window, not still to the paper. If the decal starts to peel, simply push it back down, reapply pressure with the squeegee and wait longer for the decals adhesive to dry. Plan on waiting for at least 24 hours, before washing your car (longer is better, here).
Do it yourself! A decal shop would probably charge at least $30 for this, probably more like $50, not worth it.
